Tchia – Official ‘The Place’ Behind The Scenes
Join members of the development team at Awaceb as they give us a tour of the archipelago that inspired the upcoming tropical adventure game Tchia in this behind-the-scenes video. The team puts a spotlight on various beautiful landscapes like the island of Lifou and more, animals like the Cagou bird, plant life, and culture that make up the Pacific island of New Caledonia, which inspired Tchia’s world.
In Tchia, explore the ocean depths or become one with nature, with the game’s unique soul-jumping mechanic allowing them to take control of over 30 animals and hundreds of objects, turning the environment into the ultimate exploration tool.
Not everything is calm and relaxing in Tchia. The island the game’s heroine, Tchia, calls home has been invaded by strange fabric creatures called the Maano, who, under the orders of the archipelago’s evil ruler, have abducted her father.
Tchia will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Spring 2023.
